I've done my own gel nails for 10years. The part I loathe the most is always gel removal. In the past I've tried the soaker finger pods, the finger soaker trays, gauze wraps, foil wraps, finger clamps, dremel and manual tools.... I've tried it all. My natural nails are always trashed and need a ton of buffing which make them thin and sore.I saw this stuff and wanted to give it a whirl. I buffed my nails and began to apply this product. I was surprised at how thick it was, it's not like paint at all, it's more of a gritty paste that you are trying to dab onto your nail. I've posted pictures of the process for you to see my wait times and results. I needed two cycles to remove my polish. This products isn't magic, it still takes about the same about of time as a regular soak off, BUT here are the pros:The product doesn't need anything else (no bowls, no wraps, ect)The product doesn't smellThe product can be put specifically to the nail only and doesn't effect your skin areaThe product had a nice warming effect, not ice cold like soak off liquidsYou get TWO bottles in the order and I imagine it will last while!I prefer this gel removal to any other product I've tried. By far the best removal method.Tips: Definitely pre buff your nails for best results and leave on for at least ten minutes per round. I had an expectation that this product would not work that well. Let's be honest, lots just don't make the mark. This product goes beyond the mark! As other reviews point out, there is a chemical smell (gasoline-like), but I didn't find it overwhelming as I'm accustomed to nail polish and removers, acrylic application and a few gel products with varying degrees of smell. In only a matter of minutes, my gel application - including top coat - was completely removable with an orange/plastic pusher. I tested next by using a light grit to remove the shine and it worked even faster. No need to wrap my nails in foil, which presented its own challenges. I highly recommend! Read more

This works but the trick is to pile it on and wait much longer than 2 minutes. Put enough on so you see it start to bubble. The gel polish will literally wipe right off if you use enough and let it sit on the nails a while (5-10 min) Read more

I originally five starred this product. However, I have found this doesn't work well for everyone. If you have thin nails (as I do), then this product is too harsh. I now have chemical burn to the nail bed, and I'm in the slow process of getting the nail to reattach to the skin. Read more

This remover worked to remove the gel polish as stated, but after the use I ended up going to 2 different emergency rooms with severe pain in my nail beds and 1 finger ... the pain so bad , the medication did not relieve it ... I will be starting a steroid today . Read more

Sorry to say both bottles were bad, one big clumpy mess, the product was defective or went bad that is why it was on clearance, please check product once you receive, I waited until it was time to take off my gel polish along with polygel and I could not get any product out or on brush it came with, I had to use soak off method and file and now my nail beds are sensitive and thin so was not happy... however Amazon Customer Service was the best and I did get a refund... This formulation is much better than the blue colored remover which was very thick and burned if you got it on your skin.The secrets to making this work is buffing away your glossy top coat first before using. When I apply the remover, I can hear the polish lightly crackling and can see the formula has made the remaining polish lightly blister and crack before I remove the remaining polish with a curved metal cuticle pusher.This makes gel removal so easy without damage to your natural nails.
