The Amazon version of these are better, still terrible, but better. These ones just fall down the entire time and typically right when that sweet baby of yours is falling asleep. Of the blackout curtains I have tried this one takes the cake! Not simply a one layer thick fabric and not just thick plastic.. an awesome combo! I needed something adjustable that would truly keep not only light out but help to keep strict privacy into a room, after searching and trying I’ve now found it. This was sort of tricky to put up and figure out how to size it down with the Velcro, but it wasn’t too bad. Shortly after putting it up, some of the suction cups fell off a few times, but I think we finally got them attached well. It does block out most light, but there are some small gaps at the top and sides where the curtain is folded over and velcroed. I think it’ll work well enough for us though and is better than trying to tie some kind of blanket up!Update: We are now using this on a different window and it doesn’t work very well. It’s a newer vinyl window and even with the sunction cups as far on the edge as possible, tons of light gets in through gaps in the sides. This works great at home but only sticks to a large glass.We were recently traveling and our room had a glass door with a tall and skinny window and we could not get this product to stay up. It’s supposed to fit any size but it fits a large window best.At home, this product does and incredible job at blocking out the sun. Our baby’s room went from light and airy to pitch black. Nap time has improved as well as morning wake up time.I do recommend this product just keep in mind that it may not work really well when traveling. Read more

Definitely does what it's supposed to room is much darker & baby is napping better. I'd take a before and after with just the blinds and current curtainsand then with the product but it does take some time to get it situated properly so it's blocking the light fully. These are SO genius. They don't leave marks, are easy to use, and they do a great job blacking out a kid's room when traveling. (I have also used the Slumber Pod, but it smells strongly of chemicals.) One thing: because of all the suction cups, these take up quite a bit of room in the suitcase! We just stayed in 3 different places this last week and a half and this managed to fit a tiny window in the beach house, a wide one in a ranch house, and a tall window in a Manhattan walkup. Overall, does what it’s supposed a bit thinner than I thought it would be. Some suction cups fell off a little after hanging but it’s been up for over 24 hrs now and it’s staying in place. There are some gaps where light is coming in but I may use Command Velcro strips to secure it in place for a better fit over the window. Room is super dark! It is a bit pricey but it’s a good size. Downside: There a tons of little holes in the fabric that let light through. It’s not super noticeable unless you’re up close and doesn’t really affect the overall coverage of the curtain. Sticks on the windows and a reasonable solution to having baby sleep in different rooms. However, often there is a gap between suction cups that light shines through so definitely not black out dark when used. Garbage bags over the windows would probably work just as well. Read more

The blinds do their job for the most part in blacking out a room. My partner and I use it for our baby's nursery. There are gaps around the edges and especially where you have to fold the curtain to make it fit into your window's dimensions.BUT the worst part of this product is the suction power from the suction cups. The cups fell off the window three times while I was adjusting the blind to the window and then over the course of 6 hours fell off another two times. Read more

Overall this product works well for its blackout function, it really improved our little one's ability to sleep more in the early morning. We've used it on multiple windows (home and travel).Pros: excellent black out of the room. Small package and lightweight, thus easy to pack for travel. Versatile size (it has Velcro to shorten the curtain for a smaller window).Cons: VERY poor suction, needed multiple adjustments daily (we tried damping the back slightly with a wet wipe and that seem to last for a few days). Although it has velcro all around, you can't shorten both the width and length at the same time (i.e. you can only make the curtains shorter in one direction). Read more
