He was still under a week old when they arrived. I know from my own experience that infants that are swaddled well, sleep well. The first couple of days home from the hospital, we didn’t have these and my grandson woke every hour or less for cluster feeding. It was rough on my daughter and son-in-law. I've had several types of swaddlers and I've swaddled with regular baby blankets too. The swaddlers are much easier to put a wriggly baby into and keep them snugged up. Some swaddlers are heavier weight, which can lead to overheating the baby. You don't want a baby to sleep too warm because it's a SIDS risk. These are very thin, but swaddle nicely. They're also soft and very pretty. I can't imagine any new parent being unhappy with these. A baby that sleeps better makes for a parent that sleeps better. Read more
These recieving blankets are so sweet. I love that each blanket is pre-sewn to wrap your baby with ease.( I needed this as a new mom until I got the hang of wrapping my baby). These swaddle blankets are pretty and have lovely patterns in pink. They are made of 100 percent cotton. They are not overly thick. They are very soft and the perfect size for a newborn.
