After researching double joggers for ages, we decided on the newest Thule because of the superior materials and design. While the ride was smooth, the steering positive, and the details thoughtful, the fit was a huge let down. The seats were fine for our 6 month old, but barely deep enough for our tiny 25 lb almost 3 year old. She said she was not comfortable in the seat, and the recline was much too far for her liking. Rather than have that fight every time we went for a walk or run, we decided to return the stroller. In addition, the plastic piece designed to keep the stroller together while folded popped off first thing as I was trying to lift the stroller into the back of my car to gauge the fit. I think I may have lifted from the wrong spot which put too much pressure on the piece, but it seems a flimsy design if I was able to break it upon the first test. Perhaps a metal piece would have been better. Incidentally, I found the replacement part available on the Thule website for only a couple of bucks.Overall, the stroller looks and feels great with some very good details. Love the reflective piping on the seats, the covered storage area, and the blue touch points. The seats were just the dealbreaker for us. I can’t imagine what kids will be able to fit comfortably in the seats, but my tall skinny ones are not the ones. Much to our disappointment, we’ve returned the stroller and will be ordering the next one down on our list. Read more

I love this stroller so far. It's light and easy to push. It looks sleek and modern and many people compliment on how "nice" our stroller looks. I can easily push it with one hand. Running with it is a dream. Buying the console gives you good storage. My toddler likes the additional snack tray purchase. Sun shade is big. There's even mesh pockets on the sides of the seat so my daughter can store a toy or two next to her. There's a mesh pocket behind the seat. I forgot a banana in there, folded the stroller, and the banana was fresh and unbruised the next day. It's pretty easy and intuitive to adjust the seat straps. My only complaints are very specific to my needs/preferences (mostly that I want my jogging stroller to also be my every day stroller):1. The seat's most upright position is slightly reclined. My daughter wants to sit all the way upright and so she is hesitant to get in the stroller for this reason. I understand that this is so the baby doesn't get whiplash from sudden starts and stops on a run, but since I like to use this stroller for everyday errands, I wish it could go completely upright. I read that the 2016 BOB now includes a complete upright position, so I hope one day Thule does the same.2. The stroller feels very LONG. I brought this stroller to Disneyland and it just felt slightly too big...not because of it's girth or profile (which are very sleek), but simply because of the length. It takes careful thought to maneuver in tight spaces, though the actual pushing and turning is very smooth, light and easy.3. The placement of the back two wheels feel slightly WIDE when indoors (yes I took this into a restaurant) and in crowds. Similar to my last point...the silhouette of the stroller seat is slim, it's just the wheel placement that sticks far out in front and a little wide in the back. If I wasn't mindful, I would accidentally bump into things. I wonder if the wheel placement has something to do with the aerodynamics of the running stroller? If so I'm not complaining. My dream is that Thule (are you reading this Thule?) would consider a model with front and back wheels that sit more underneath the child seat instead of sticking out as much, and a more upright sitting position. Then this would be the ultimate only-stroller-you-ever-need-in-life stroller. Read more

So I spent an hour and a half testing the two blue strollers - I also tested the BOB Blaze but the permanently locked front wheel was not the life for me. The lighter blue is the Thule Urban Glide 2 and the darker is the BOB Strides which is very similar to the Flex with minor differences. I chose the Strides over the Flex for a possible jogger because I wanted color for visibility. My primary use of this stroller will be for running in the neighborhood or light trails. We live on the water so our roads are pitched, a big reason the permanent locked wheel was not going to work for us. Overall, the Thule won and here’s why: the Thule is an easier, straighter ride with excellent maneuverability. The wheels on the Thule rarely left the ground on turns while they rather easier left the ground with the BOB. I was actually really surprised by this in comparison. The Thule’s frame is longer and has wider wheel placement so it makes sense it maneuvers as well as it does. However, on some roads it did seem the Thule has a little wobble action but it concerned us more that the BOB front wheel basically spun around; we felt it would have to be locked on the BOB whereas not necessary with the Thule. The Thule folds very easier while the BOB is harder to fold and store. You can wheel the Thule but cannot with the BOB; maybe if you locked the wheel? I didn’t try that. What I do like more about the Bob is the deeper and wider seat and larger window to peek inside, however it has velcro while the Thule has magnets so it’s quieter to not wake baby. BOB has the wrist safety on the right, which makes sense to me since the majority of the population is right handed, but the Thule’s is on the left? So I got to wondering do right handed people hold the stroller in their left hand? Am I doing it wrong? Lol. You cannot move the wrist strap over because of the brake but the brake is a feature this BOB does not have. The carrier on the bottom is covered on the bottom of the Thule, which I like, versus it is open on the BOB.I think that’s about it. 🤗 Read more

After eyeing this stroller online for nearly half a year, I finally purchased it on sale with very high expectations. Now that I have spent a couple of months using it, I will say (for now) that all these expectations have been met.I needed a stroller that would allow me to haul my toddler and infant to and from daycare each day, including snowy days during our harsh Canadian winters. I also needed this stroller to have excellent maneuverability and be able to fit into standard doorways so that I could bring it onto light rail transit (I am not sure if I would attempt to bring this stroller onto a bus). As an added bonus, I hoped that the stroller would fit in the trunk of our modest-sized Chevy Cruze when folded for the rare occasion that we want to bring it somewhere in our car. I am happy to say that this stroller manages to check all the boxes.A few things to echo from other reviews: No, this is not the most comfortable stroller your kids will ever ride in. It is narrow so that it can fit through the aforementioned standard doorways, and the most upright seating positions are slightly more reclined than would be ideal. For this reason, I wouldn't have purchased this product if I didn't need a double stroller that I can use every day, in all types of weather, and bring on public transit --- there are far less expensive and more child-friendly options out there if you want something for leisure use only.I also have not yet used this stroller in the winter, however its wheels are larger than the Baby Jogger City Elite single I used previously for my toddler, so I am assuming that it will hold up just fine in the snow. If this is not the case, I will certainly update this review. Read more

We got this stroller after lots of good reviews and was excited to use it, especially during our harsh winters here. However, after three months of using it on paved sidewalks during the summer months before winter even got here, the back left wheel doesn’t sit properly on its tread anymore. We thought maybe it was low on air or punctured, but after pumping it full of air and checking for punctures, it still doesn’t sit properly. No response from Thule warrantee even though we have properly registered the stroller. It is extremely disappointing for an expensive stroller that its parts are made of such poor quality and had a shelf life of only three months. And more disappointing that Thule doesn’t stand behind its products with no response. We were expecting higher quality from Thule. We would not purchase again. Read more

The Thule Double 2 is a excellent stroller. I have had the Thule Single for over three years and it was been rock solid and easy to push around. Thus there is was no question that when the second child arrived, Thule was the way to go for a double. The stroller is a bit heavy but nothing unmanageable. It is very easy and smooth to push when fully loaded with two kids and gear. The difference between gen 1 and gen 2 is the handle break. It is much like a bike brake and useful when running, especially down hill. Is it worth the extra $70, not really, but it is nice to have. I recommend this stroller. Unfortunately, when I un-packaged the unit, the plastic lock that keeps the stroller folded was busted. I emailed amazon but no response. So 5 starts for the stroller and 1 for amazon. Rather deal with a return hassle, I fixed myself with glue and electrical tape. Read more

Great wheels for thick snow. We bought this stroller because of the big tires. It’s not heavy and I’m impressed on the quality of the materials. Swedish won’t make cheap stuff. It’s a value for your money. Only concern is it barely fits on the doorway but all in all I’m so glad I bought it. Read more

We were looking for a "do everything - go everywhere" stroller. Although it may be a bit more on the bulkier side when it comes to shopping, we take it anyways because it's so easy to maneuver - I often push and direct it with one hand.So easy to fold down. I found that instead of carrying the folded stroller I can just pull it using its back wheels. Super handy.I am a bit anxious about traveling over seas with it as thule doesn't make a travel bag for it. The accessories are a bit limited and expensive to purchase.
