Tapestry Men's Daily doesn't disclose its full supplementation either here or on the bottle unless you look very, very closely. 1 star.I initially was comparing this to my innocuous long term daily from Rite Aid that has 3 times the pills for slightly less the price, with this having slightly different quantities of the basics along with Vitamin K and Biotin added.That was going to make this a three star supplement, but then I wondered a bit at the size of the pills - they're about 4 or 5 times as large as I'm used to. Then I saw the FDA required black box warning here about iron being a leading cause of death in children under 6 when none was listed in the RDA label, which was mystifying. Then I looked much, much closer and saw 'peel here' and a tiny arrow on the label, only to discover that this had an entirely hidden list of minerals that isn't overtly displayed on the bottle or worse yet, placed on the product listing by the manufacturer here!This is what's on the hidden label: Calcium as Calcium Carbonate/Dicalcium Phospate 210 mg (16%), Iron as Ferrous Fumarate 8 mg (44%), Phosphorus as Dicalcium Phosphate 20 mg (2%), Iodine as Potassium Iodide 150 mcg (100%), Magnesium as Magnesium Oxide 100 mg (24%), Zinc as Zinc Oxide 11 mg (100%), Selenium as Sodium Selenate 100 mcg (182%), Copper as Cupric Sulate 0.9 mg (100%), Manganese as Manganese Sulfate 2.3 mg (100%), Chromium as Chromium Picolinate 35 mcg (100%), Molybdenum as Sodium Molybdate 50 mcg (111%), Chloride as Potassium Chloride 72 mg (3%), Potassium as Potassium Chloride 80 mg (2%), Lycopene 600 mcg.In theory, none of these are actually out of line for many all-in-one dailies, but besides the iron risk for kids which isn't hinted at besides the black box, magnesium and zinc oxide can cause digestive problems for a lot of people. Furthermore, if you're on keto there's starch, maltodextrin, polydextrose, sucrose, and glucose - each of which is a problem, but all of which combined meaning this almost certainly has several carbs, once again not disclosed - and if you're vegan, the top ingredient on the 'other' list is gelatin.This is fine if you're looking for a generic replacement for Centrum Men, which this what the label indicates this is marketed as. But some of us for very good reason are more careful about what exactly is in our supplements even at the cost of more pills, and hiding all of this literally behind a label, not disclosing it in marketing, and possibly risking the health of kids unless a harried parent really looks deep on the label is anything from careless to reprehensible. There is a lot to recommend this multivitamin.The dosage is one tablet a day, taken with food.While the pill is large, I had no problem swallowing it.If you really struggle with larger supplements, this one has an indentation to help you split it, so it can be taken as two halves.The other nice thing about this is that it is extremely affordable.With 120 days worth of vitamins in a single bottle, this will last you about four months.At the current price, that's only four dollars a month or $48 for an entire year.Taking this, I personally have had no tummy troubles or other bad reactions to it.I have, however, been following the guidance to take it with food.I also drink a lot of water when taking any multivitamin.The only reason I did not give this a full five stars is that I could not find any information anywhere on the bottle or the product page about where it was manufactured.A company based in Colorado distributes this supplement, but no details about where the ingredients are sourced, where this is made, nor where it is packaged are provided.I always feel when people are actually consuming something, they should be told where it was produced.Assuming you are alright with not knowing exactly where this was manufactured, it's an excellent women's multivitamin.The convenience of taking one tablet a day with a meal is very appealing, particularly to those who already take other supplements/medication and/or those with a general aversion to swallowing tablets.The affordability of this multivitamin is another factor that makes it a very attractive choice. I take a multivitamin everyday and have done so for years. And I’m always open to trying a new one. So when I saw this daily men’s multivitamin on Amazon, I decided to order it.I like this particular multivitamin mainly for one reason…it’s limited ingredients. So many of the multivitamins I’ve taken have an ingredient list a mike long. This vitamin contains only the core vitamins…A, C, D, E and K….a couple of B’s , and a couple of minerals. That’s it. At least with these multivitamins I know exactly what’s going into my body. And with most of the particular vitamins you’re getting a higher dosage. I like that.The size of these multivitamins is similar to any of the others put there. And they’re coated, so they’re easy to take.I’ve been taking these vitamins for a few days no and haven’t felt or seen any difference in myself. But that’s not a bad thing. I didn’t expect them to be ‘super vitamins’ or anything. I just wanted to work on par with the ones I’d been taking…and they do.These multivitamins cost more than the ones I get from the warehouse club store. But in this case…’less is the same’…less ingredients make me feel the same as the vitamins containing twice as many.If you don’t mind paying the price, this is a good men’s multivitamin. Read more
