You should get a decant of this or Amouage Interlude before buying, this is not a mass appealing fragrance, it's quite challenging.. not like a Dior Sauvage or an Acqua di Gió that you know most people will like.. this is niche-quality and niche fragrances are known for being in another ballpark than designer ones.The opening is kinda harsh with the oregano and pimento notes.. after 20 minutes it starts to dry into Opoponax/Olibandum/Amber sweetness, which is when you start to actually enjoy it.5 sprays max, this is EDP.. and a blast.. you may end up being offensive to coworkers and such..Hope this helps! To the untrained nose this is a spitin image of Amouage Interlude Man at a fraction of the cost.This stuff has the same silage and projection power as interlude man. It has that deep sweet Incense smell that last literally for days on clothing. This would be a repeat buy but to be honest with the amount of bottles I have in rotation and only needing one or two sprays of this due to the strength this bottle may last me a good 5-7 years lol. When I first got into fragrances I was like all the others spending thousands of dollars on fragrances. I had a great collection and after awhile of being in the game the thrill of hunting and collecting bottles got old. I’m fine with buying decants and clones now. This is an amazing fragrance. Sweet and peppery opening with an interesting oregano note. Dries down to very sweet incense notes, with some leather and sandalwood chiming in. This smells an awful lot like a very expensive niche fragrance at about an eighth of the price. I’d give it six stars for value if I could. Great projection, sillage and longevity. Super high quality clone of Amouage Interlude Man, aka "The Blue Beast", which is roughly $300 for the same sized bottle. The quality of this in relation to the price is utterly amazing. By far the best clone that I own. The atomizer is even pressurized, and is better than the atomizers on most of my high priced colognes, no lie.I have a .27 ounce decant of Interlude Man. I use one spray of that and then layer it with two sprays of this on my scarf and you literally can't tell the difference for the entire day.For me, this scent is exclusively for when it's below 40 degrees, and then it shines in all it's glory. The other day, I walked past a female outside with this on my scarf and she smiled, winked at me and said, "you smell so manly!". Be careful wearing this indoors because it can absolutely choke people out in a heated building. Outdoors in the cold, however, I can't think of anything else I own that's better!I also like spraying this on top of one of my old car air fresheners when it's cold, or even a spray or two on my pillow cases in the winter months is nice. Smells really nice and is quite enjoyable. More than one reviewer indicated its resemblance to Tom Ford Black Orchid. Personally, I have never smelled Black Orchid by Tom Ford before but I certainly like how this fragrance smells. Scent: definitely NOT even close to Reflections by Amouge. This smells like grandpa’s aftershave, citrusy and very old fashioned. What’s the point of making a knock-off fragrance where the originals can be bought for the same price?Other reviewers are saying this is fougere. Ok, I can go with that one, and for those who like fougere this might be okay.However, bear in mind that fougere is never sexy, sensual, or elegant. It always smells of cheap aftershave.Longevity: at best 2 hours which includes the dry down stage as well.Conclusion: I will not wear this in public nor gift it to any one as it would definitely be embarrassing.I would add a bit of frankincense, guaiac wood, vanilla and musk to make this formula a bit more exiting.
