I read the book " The Depression Cure: The 6-Step Program to Beat Depression without Drugs " and it contained the recommendation to increase Omega-3 intake. I had already been taking salmon oil supplements, but as it turned out, not enough. I couldn't take more than one capsule because I was unwilling to endure those fishy burps. So, I read good things about this product and took the plunge. Each capsule contains more EPAs than what I was using before, no fishy burps, and I feel more energetic, both mentally and physically. I've come to appreciate NOW products. This Omega-3 is enteric coated, so you never burp it up. We also use Mega EFA from VitaCost which, in my case, never causes burping. It's probably the best one to buy. VitaCost is hard to beat using their branded products and is more potent.BTW: There is a great test to see if your fish oil is good or not. Break a capsule open on a small plate. Just crack it open so some comes out onto the plate. Then put it in your freezer for about an hour. If you have high quality fish oil (not fish LIVER oil) it will NOT get cloudy or freeze. If you don't have a good product it will get cloudy and may even freeze. Good Luck!TaosGuy Read more
