This actually worked almost as well as deet. I would feel a little something and glance down and any bug that did land on me immediately regretted it and was dead. A little disturbing finding dead bodies on me but it prevented biting completely. The only knocks on it were that bugs still landed on me at a slightly higher rate than with deet and it didn't last quite as long as deet. The bottle claims 6 hours and I think that's very fair, so I just had to reapply once or twice during my trip. The pros for me definitely outweigh the cons. This feels much better on the skin than typical bug repellent, I hate sleeping with deet on but this dries down very nicely and doesn't make you feel covered in chemicals until your next shower. Deet also eats through my nail polish which is a horrifying thought on its own but then I wake up with leaves and grit stuck on my toenails, this is not an issue with the Lemon Eucalyptus Oil. There is a very strong smell when first applying but it's a very citronella smell which I'll take over other repellents. I'm happy I found this and will be sticking with it. Read more
no Deet, works well, no see-ums and mosquitos don't like it. The deerflies are not amused either but still buzz in the vicinity. Smells good, and isn't oily. Recommend it especially for kids. Read more
