About this item The Braided Tonytail is a chic and stylish braided ponytail wrap made out of synthetic wig hair on an elastic rubber band. Braid is approximately 0.25 inches wide but width may vary because it is handmade. Just hold the hair piece and twist it into hair like a regular rubber band 2 to 3 times until tight. I was really disappointed in this product. It is almost what I wanted, but a few little flaws make it pretty much unuseable for me.First: The braid is very, very, very thin. This would be OK, except that the construction of the wrap makes it necessary to hide the "works" with the pretty part. Unfortunately, the "works" are huge, bulky and heavy, while the pretty braid is small, thin, and simply not big enough to hold it's own.Second, the braid itself doesn't go completely around my ponytail. It is attached to an elastic in the back with bulky metal clasps. The elastic is so big and long and thick, that it has to be wrapped around my ponytail several times in order to hold the hair and stay put. Consequently, the braid gets covered up with the elastic and it is ugly.So, it is close, but not at all functional as intended. The little braid is cute, but the rest of the design overpowers it and makes it useless. If only they had put a little bit of thought into how this would look in real-life use! Do Disappointed! Braided Tonytail:Nice quality, great ponytail optionI am blonde so I wasn't sure if this would be a perfect match to my hair. But after wearing it and getting so many compliments, I found out that it doesn't have to be a perfect match. It is a fun alternative to an ugly rubberband. This is a great idea and I wish it would work but there isn't much braid to this and it does have a small stretch band but also has to big plastic nobs and you just can't get this around your hair when the nobs get in the way it won't go on securely. Read more
