I wanted to make some handprints/footprints on a canvas for my little guy (1-month-old) and had ZERO LUCK with non-toxic paint (smeared). After purchasing this inkpad, my luck was phenomenally better. Handprints are still tricky, because babies are SQUIRMY! But, my project came out great! (Some smearing on the bottom was due to my kicking baby, not the inkpad.) It's fairly easy to clean; I just used wipes. Ink did stay in the little crevices on hands/feet and underneath nails, even after his bath, but eventually the ink went away, and since it's non-toxic, I wasn't worried. Read more

I bought this to do christmas paw prints for my dogs since it's non toxic. It worked great and the clean up was easy. The ink washes right off with some warm water and a wash cloth. The color is vibrant and it looks great! Read more

Before my baby was born I ordered a bunch of those touchless “ink” pads, because I thought they’d be easier.Well, I found them to not be great - not much detail (right pic) and if you messed up, too bad, they’re one use only,So I bought this pad....amazing! It’s really easy to apply, with the ink being on an extended pad or something, so it’s no trouble at all to get her foot covered....and if I mess up I can try again...and there’s actually detail of her footprint(left pic)I love it and I plan to buy more in some other colors - wish I’d bought this first for her earlier prints! I bought this for our 3 month old twins to "sign" thank you cards. I am totally amazed how easily it cleans off. I figured it would be slightly less work than a normal ink pad but after stamping 12 cards I used exactly one baby wife to totally clean their feet. It didn't stain skin or nails. Awesome!Photo shows frsh ink on the right and 2nd use without re-inking on the left. I decided to reapply for each stamp after this one.Also baby on the right was awake and baby on the left asleep. What I like about this product is that you can use it a lot of times and I mean a lot. It does get messy but it's worth it I've been trying to handprint my 4th month old hands, i tried the film one, that one didn't work i ruined his baby book with the film kind. The best way to do it I think is with this ink pad1. Set up a area newspaper works best, cover the area with newspaper trust me on this. You're gonna ink the babys hand than grab the baby's stamped hands than grab the baby and probably touched other things. I did mine on the floor with baby while doing tummy time.make sure baby is in clothes that you wouldn't mind them ruining.2. Stamp babys hands all the way through with the ink pad. This is where the newspaper comes handy do some test runs on the newspaper that way when you want to stamp his hands on the final project it's not as dark but a nice grayish. Read more

We never got my son's footprint in the hospital (he was sent to the NICU and in all the commotion it just got overlooked) so I ordered this so we could have one. It worked great, was the perfect size for his foot. I actually made him "sign" all the thank you cards from his baby shower. After we were done, I just wiped his foot off with a baby wipe, and that got most of it off (the rest came off very easily in the bath). The top of the pad is pretty loose, so I put a rubber band around it. Have used it a few different times and have had no problems with it drying out! Read more

i know some of the reviews note that it dried out after 1 use. i don't know if mine did or not, i only bought it for 1 use purposes. i will say that getting this ink off my little ones hands was NOT as easy as it said it would be. there was pink ink all over pretty much everything by the time i was done with it. had i been a little smarter, i would have set up the area i was doing her handprints in, a little better. better prep would have led to a better outcome. i don't know what people expect with this, but it's as i expected- basically a mess, hard to get off baby's hands, and probably did dry out after 1 use (but again, i don't know).
