I do like that it catches the hair, but unlike other capes of this design, the fabric is super thin. The neckline does seem to go all around my 9 year old's neck, but the velcro is still set for too wide. I don't know that it would even close for a child with a smaller neck. And as frustrating as twisting these things up to put it away, this cape doesn't even come with a little elastic band that keeps it in the closed position once you wrap it up—which is pretty standard for capes, windshield shades, etc. that come in this design.Poor execution. I think most kids 10 and younger will love the flying saucer shape of this umbrella-shaped barber cape! I love the playful watermelon print, and it definitely makes at-home hair trim sessions a breeze! It’s lightweight, flexible, portable, affordable, adjustable, and easy to clean, and I like that it comes with a cute bear sponge and yellow holder clip! This Jiernxiu haircut cape is as described and is big and flexible along the rim. The neck is velcro opening which is easy and holds well on my 3 yr old. Even when the velcro is opened, my average adult head does not fit through it so I would say it’s for smaller people only. The fabric is lightweight and works well to catch hair. Read more
Used this on our 8 y/o and it fits him well, the ring is still large enough to fit around his shoulders. The cape forms a nice umbrella style catcher for the hair. Great idea, definitely useful for our home hair cutting session. Read more
