I threw it away after I took one and got sick.These contain WAY MORE than the recommended or even safe amount.Recommended daily is 125 micrograms.1200 micrograms or over per day is dangerous.But these are each 12.5 MILLIgrams, which is 12,500 micrograms!Why do these being sold as daily? These can cause thyroid problems, and there is a good chance they will also make you sick.This IS the dose that you're supposed to take for 5 days if you are in Chernobyl-level event, to protect your thyroid from radioactive iodine in fallout. I have spent a lot of time trying to figure out why I was constantly exhausted. I changed my eating, exercising, sleeping habits, and I am working on the stress level. I was still tired all the time. My doctor chalked it up to age and the change of life, but I felt like that just wasn’t what was wrong. I have been taking Thyroid medicine for years but every single day I just felt so worn out. I never had any energy and on weekends I would sleep almost all weekend so I could have the energy to work Monday thru Friday. UNTIL I got This Iodine Plus 2. The first day I took it I felt so much better. It was like I was my old self again. Now I have energy when I get home from work and on weekends we can go enjoy life instead of sleeping all weekend. Taking a product like this is subject to a lot of things. Taking them on schedule, in the proper amount, and how your body reacts to the product. Each person is different and this product is not a win for everyone.I used the entire bottle, with very little to no benefits. I have not used this product before and didn't know what to expect, but after reading mixed reviews from the intake of amplified amounts of iodine, I became uneasy about it all.My wife felt worse after a week of taking this, and I didn't tell her what it was or how it worked. I feel bad now, but at least you have a solid and honest review. I continued to take them, since I felt no harmful affects, but no positive ones either.I gave it three stars out of five due to the fact that it did ship well, was the product I requested, and appeared to be true to what the seller was advertising. The negative stars are a result of lack of product doing anything for me ( not considering the fact it made my wife feel bad ) and I felt it needed to include more conclusive study results along with the purchase. I bought Natural Living Iodine Plus 2 for my husband. He's been taking it for 3 weeks, and he is satisfied that it is helping him. I take it too, and find I have more energy.My husband says that it has helped him more than the meds he was taking. He wakes up in a much better mood and is ready to get up. He has several health issues, and was getting depressed because he had no energy and he now wakes up ready to go. His health issues limit him, but he has the will to get out and try. He's 84 yrs old and always been very active, and to be so limited just really frustrates him. Now he is getting out and doing some things that he wants to do. I am HYPOthyroid, just turned 59, am active. My thyroid stopped working in 2005-been on meds since. Also have been gaining weight since, and I'd say, at 157lbs (5'6"), i'm 20-25 lbs over weight. I've tried everything from to green tea, coffee bean extract, you name it - nothing, including this, has helped me lose weight. I pretty much starve myself daily, and STILL do not lose weight. I was hoping this would help, based on reviews of others, but unfortunately it has not. Honestly I cannot tell anything, other than my thyroid dose has been lowered.
