I bought several colors to blend a perfect match to my hair and feel much more confident about my thinning hair when my scalp isn't noticed through my hair style. I don't know about the fibers sticking to my hair--I suppose some do--but my goal is to make my scalp unnoticeable, and dusting this product on achieves that goal well. I use the atomizer for the front part since I don't want the fibers getting in my face when I dust them on with the shaker I have. That isn't a problem at the crown, but at the hairline I have to hold to head back to avoid that, then can't see what I'm doing. The atomizer helps a lot.These packets hold a full cup of fibers. That's a lot so I transfer the contents to Lock & Lock rounds where they won't spill and are better protected than in the plastic bags they arrive in. I was irked that when opening the shipping envelope I cut two bags by mistake and fiber spilled. The envelopes really should be packed in a box for shipping. Once the plastic bags were compromised, the contents had to be transferred and I found the Lock & Lock contains were ideal. I can use a measuring spoon to take out what I need to make a new mix, and actually keep two since one section of my hair shows more gray and needs a different shade.The dark blond is a good neutral color for ash blond and light brown shades. The light blond is more yellow.Be aware that if you order multiple colors, you will be charged shipping on each one even though they are shipped together. The fibers are great; the shipping is not. After trying out this product and comparing it to the much more expensive products that I had been using, the question that popped into my mind is, "Why did I wait so long to look for an alternative on Amazon!?" I refilled my current bottle from the more expensive products I've been using with the fibers, and I tried them out Using them just like I normally would. I found the quality and the color to be almost identical. I do not use this product all over my entire scalp. I use it where I part my hair and on this little patch in the back of my head where my hairline seems to get all screwy. I also find it to be a great filler for those mornings when I'm running late and don't want to wash my hair, but my hair clearly needs a little pick me up. I was going through a 12 g bottle of Toppik every six months or so. Great product for covering bald spots. This products works just a well as comparable ones. Don’t apply it to wet hair and definitely use hair spray to seal it in your hair. Otherwise, it will go everywhere. Matches my hair color and gives it a fuller, more consistent look. My confidence is definitely boosted too. Great product. My hair has been thinning for a while and I tried some of these fibers that I found in the store. I loved the way my hair looked and I felt so much better about myself. I looked to find more. In the beauty stores they cost so much. But thankfully I found them here on Amazon. Much better price and they ship fast. I was buying the bottles but then realized I could buy the refill packages. Much better cost. The fibers do make a little bit of a mess but to me it is worth the extra cleaning to have my hair look great and feel better about myself. I definitely recommend this product. I've been using these types of products for over 6yrs. I use them 6-7 days/wk due to hair loss from PCOS. I've used Toppik, Xfusion, Crown, and this product.PRO: fibers are very fine (I often had some clumping and bits of plastic in the other brands). Black is black! (The other brands' black is a little on the dustier side; not a true black, but hued with blues and greys). Fibers stayed where I sprinkled them. I did not have to use excess amounts to get the same results as the other brands.CON: pkgs smelled like mold/mildew (major turn off!), however, I don't think the fibers did (I didn't want to inhale fibers). Because fibers are finer, more of it is breathed in. I blow my nose after every use of these products, and this gave me the most black gunk in my nose. What's in this stuff? Actually, are any of these products safe?Clean up was the same as other products. I have spare containers from other hair fiber products, so this is what I used. Overall, I'm impressed by this product and the price. The only reason I purchased it, is because Xfusion doubled in price. I HATE that it arrived smelling like mildew. For all you ladies out there with hair loss... This product changed my life. I am blond and have a large bald spot on the front of my scalp. I use light brown it gives depth to my existing hair and covers that area. I would have to wear a wig without this. You must try it.
