My first, second, third, and fourth choices for a wall mount magnifying mirror were all out of stock. So instead of being patient I went ahead and ordered this one. In a nutshell, it's pretty on the outside but cheap and cheesy on the inside. Here's a quick summary of my regrets:- turns out that it's not UL listed. Has a very cheesy electrical connection device (a sort of plastic/metal harness) which I couldn't bring myself to use (I used wire nuts instead). The center hole on the mounting plate (through which you feed your electrical wiring) is so small that I was worried that over time it might rub against the sheath on my electrical conductors and damage them. So I wrapped electrical tape around the conductors to protect them.- as the description indicates, there are 3 different lighting levels. But you have to physically turn off the light with the power switch, and then turn it back on again to change lighting levels. Arrgh. Really?- pay attention to the orientation of the mounting plate as it has to be mounted to the wall in a specific orientation. I didn't discover this until I was ready to mount the mirror, and the included instructions were no help (no English). I ended up drilling an additional hole in the mounting plate so I could mount it to the new electrical box I installed in the wall. If it weren't for drilling this hole I would probably have returned the mirror.- I'm not thrilled with the maximum light this mirror produces. The product description states there are 25 LEDs and I incorrectly assumed it would be plenty bright. My bad ... I should have been looking for a lumens rating. It's OK, just not what I expected.Overall I feel I paid too much for this mirror. In my opinion it should be priced closer to $60 instead of $96.Hope this helps someone. Read more

My wife loves her new mirror. Choose the hard wired version for a built in look without a cord showing. Installation took 2-3 hours but that included running wire a short distance in the wall to a nearby outlet to grab power. Mirror mounts on a wall between the two sinks and is able to swing over so either side can use it. Light works great with independent On/Off switch and can even act as a night light, and 10x magnification shows more than you can imagine. Read more

I really wanted a lighted magnifying and makeup mirror to replace the non-electric one I had. This looked like it would work but, sadly, I'm not in love with it. First, the lighting is very strange and just illuminates a small part of my face. Secondly, and worst, the magnification is just too extreme. When the contractor was installing it I heard him exclaim, "Well, this is not good!" and I thought something bad had happened. Turned out he had just looked into the mirror. I had the same reaction. I should not have bought it without looking at it in person because I would not have purchased it. Now it is installed and I am stuck with an expensive mirror that I won't use. It does what it is supposed to do so I give it three stars but it doesn't do what I wanted it to do. Would like to give two and a half. Read more

Garbage. Complete garbage. The fixture BARELY puts out any light, it is VERY dim. You can easily still see shadows on half of your face with the lights on. 10x magnifier side is all whacky too, unless you are positioned perfectly in front, your face looks like it’s reflecting in an amusement house wavy mirror instead. Mounting bracket is garbage, had to custom install - drill holes are off and so it will not mount up easily to a standard single electrical box. We ordered the 10 inch. Image is too distorted. Even at the exact distance the center is clear but the perimeter is useless. The 7 inch is about right and still plenty magnified.Fully extended, it works but it’s only reasonably sturdy. Just be careful and don’t let any kids get a hold of it.I do a lot of wiring in my bathroom remodels. But this is not that easy to install. Firstly you need to re-drill to fit the standard round 4 inch electric box. Not that difficult. Secondly the average person won’t know that the blue wire is the neutral. But it is in the instructions. Thirdly there’s a strange plug that you need to remove and connect directly with wire nuts. You can either take out the screws with a number one Phillips drillbit or you can cut the wire. Since I had to return one of these it’s a good thing that I removed the plug with the screws so I could reassemble it. Oh actually, the first 7 inch that I received had a broken wire and I shipped it back without the plug and they sent me a good one anyway.All in all a pretty decent mirror if you’re careful. The magnification is good on this mirror (can actually see the hairs to tweeze or cut). But, the light is not real bright. My bathroom lights give me more light than this, so I'm glad we have it near those lights. Installs fairly easily, if you know how to install a light fixture. Helps to have someone hold it while you screw it in, cuz it's kind of heavy. The movement of the "arm" is rather hard at first, so I'm gonna try a bit of WD40 on the joints. I don't really move it that much, but I don't want to risk pulling it out of the wall when I do. LOL! Read more

As suggested in the sellers email to me, the mirror was checked before installation and it worked but after installation it flickers when turned on for a few minutes. The lighting fluctuates between daylight lighting and a soft yellowish lighting. Read more

Leider hält das Produkt in Sachen Verarbeitungsqualität und Handling nicht das, was es verspricht:1) Das Drehen des Spiegels geht unheimlich schwer, man braucht dazu immer zwei Hände2) Das Bewegen der "Arme" ist sehr unkompfortabel, da sehr schwergängig3) Das Produkt v.a. das Spiegelteil ist so schwer, dass es schon jetzt (nach ca. 4 Wochen) leicht nach unten hängt.4) Die Wandabdeckung ist aus dünnem Blech und verbiegt sofort sich beim Anbringen an die Wand.Alles in allem eine große Enttäuschung :-(((((( Read more
