I had a stiff neck and pain whenever I turned my head just a little too far. I was prescribed muscle relaxers. After the second day of still feeling a lot of discomfort and groggy the next day, I decided to try this. Within 20 minutes I was able to turn my head with minimal neck discomfort. I have a tight spot on the left side of my neck, due to exercise. Therma care heat wraps work well, up to a point, but offer no long-term solution to the problem. I tried the Glatiola neck and shoulder massager for 10 minutes a day, 5 days per week and it loosened my stiff neck and restored the mobility. Several reviewers complained about the lack of heat - don't expect deep heat like you get from Therma care wraps or an electric heating pad, but it does provide low heat that works well with the massage and is soothing. Any machine that heats up to a high level would probably burn out the motor, fairly quickly. Read more
