A decent replacement for the original kit. Will definitely get the job done! Quality is much inferior than original. The original Baby Cache' Heritage set was made in Malaysia, and this conversion kit is made in China. You'll have to add additional slats for support which I would not recommend leaving as is with just 4 pcs that are included in the box. Make sure to inspect for any defects upon arrival, because I found splitting in the main boards immediately after unboxing. The second box was better for sure. As for the staining of the wood, they'll have drip runs along the bottom of the board which you'll have to live with since you can't see them after install. And the color match is about 90%, so that should be close enough to not notice any real difference. I wanted to save money and not buy these rails to convert the bed to a full size bed. All the steel rails out there were horrible for this kind of bed if you wanted to use both the headboard and footboard. All I found were universal steel rails that were too long.
