I have had and have many makeup brushes, including some kabuki brushes. I read the glowing reviews and it was certainly a cheap price, so I ordered. I have tried it twice and all it does is smear the makeup around your face. The bristles are so short, cheap, and dense that it renders it useless for makeup application. I really don’t know exactly what it would be useful for. Skip this one and spend the money on a quality foundation brush that applies it appropriately and naturally. For $6 it wasn’t worth the trip to UPS to return, so went in the trash. Read more

As soon as I opened this I rubbed it on my wrist and was extremely soft. I quickly massaged my face and it feels amazing. Very easy to grip and hold to apply foundation. This has been my favorite purchase in a while and very happy with the results. I have never used a brush like this and thought it would be hard since only a small handle compared to most brushes. It is actually really easy to hold and maneuver. My foundation has never gone on so smoothly before. Not a drop was left on the brush either. Although I saw several videos on how smooth it goes on, but I was still surprised how well it applied the foundation! I’ve quietly wanted to try a kabuki brush for a long time. I’m so glad I found this one. It’s just as soft and thick as it looks online. I am absolutely in love with this brush. The brush looks exactly how it is pictured on Amazon. The bristles are soft but firm (maybe because of the length) and they are packed tight into the brush handle - there was no skimping on the making of this brush. If I had to list one negative it would be that the brush could take off your make up if you over brush - but this is technique more than a knock on the brush. The brush is very effective at brushing on the make up in a smooth and non-cakey manner.The case it came in is easy to use and I store the brush in there when I put it back in my make-up bag. Not sure if it was designed for this or just packaging - but somehow they made it so that the brush fits perfectly even though it is an odd shape and the bristles don't hangover when you close the case.Would definitely buy again - and in fact bought one for my daughter.
