My baby was starting to crawl and pull up a little, so I decided to get him this walker. It arrived in pieces to put together, which my oldest son did easily. We let the baby try it and he did a few steps at first. So we took him upstairs and he started doing laps with it. On carpet it rolls great and is not to fast. It does not have anything to slow it. However as you know a baby is not just going to walk on carpet. Every time he got on the tile floor it had zero traction and would slide wildly and baby went down... sometimes completely backwards because he was hanging on and tipped over with the toy.... so the toy was useless...until we brainstormed, and got it some grips! We got a roll of the rubbery stuff you lay in the bottom of drawers. Cut it to fit the wheels, and glued it on. Now he can take it anywhere and he absolutely adores it! He will crawl to it on his own now and pull up and take it for a walk. He has learned how to regulate his speed just right. So putting the rubbery stuff on switched this to not only an off road toy, but a useable hard floor toy! I wish the people making these would put the appropriate wheels on to start with. This is the same walker they had years ago. Supposed to learn and improve over time. I gave 4 stars, because after WE fixed the wheels, he really loves his toy. It sings to him while he walks, and on front has stage 1,2,or 3, to increase learning. He can push buttons, and flip things which he loves. Yes I got my boy a girl dog (we are foster parents so I get half boy stuff half girl stuff so neither sex feels left out) Read more

Not the best walker for hard wood floors, it works much better on carpet especially if the child is just learning how to walk. With a more experienced walker I'm not sure how much better it will work. My niece (11 months) does however really enjoy the front! I love the encouraging words and the bright colors it has. I just wish the wheels were a different material, making it safer for hardwood floors, because these wheels are way too slippery. Read more

I did not like this toy for my Daugther because I was under the impression that this toy helps your baby to learn how walk. This toy has no grip on the wheels so as soon as she tries to stand up and hold it it pushes forward which makes her almost fall on her face. This toy Is for babies who already knows how to walk Read more

Baby does not use it to learn how to walk. It has too much going on and the buttons actually distract the baby from using it for walking. The baby spent a lot of time playing with it sitting down or climbing on top of it so it was really dangerous! Read more

I chose this vs the VTech version because I like the price and the shape of that big handlebar seems easier for a baby like mine who isn't walking yet). My nearly 11 mo old took to this immediately and- though she isn't walking yet - she is truckin' all over the house with this. She loves it! Read more

It is a good toy in general, but not for the purpose of early walking it didn't have enough traction for the wheels to move slowly to allow my baby to control the speed and prevent from falling. I purchased a vtech one with the similar concept, but it had levels to adjust the traction depending on the skill level/advancement of the baby using it. My baby tends to just focus on playing with the keyboard on front versus attempting to walk with it for now Read more

The only thing that upsets me about this product is the condition of its box, we are around holiday season of course this is probably going to be a gift you to think that they would take the precautions and deliver a product that you could gift but not in this case. I picture of the boxes condition, I’m going to have to be creative and turn this into a either a pretty box or put it all together and decorated Christmas like maybe some balloons because it’s definitely not going to work with the box as a gift. When I got this its sound was low which i thought might be company’s setting to protect babies from noise but now it has completely stopped coming and I have changed batteries too bit nothing seems working, took it to a local vendor who said it might be a fault in speaker and when he shwed me a new one i was amazed to hear such a clear and loud sound which i never heard from my product, i told him abt this and he said “online liya hoga aapne discount k chakkar mai, wahan faulty/repaired hi milte hai aise saste rate par” and i think he was right, now i am trying to contact fisher price but thei contact number is not working and Amazon return window has also closed, feeling being cheated but thats my mistake, shouldnt have bought such things here, therefore making all you aware not to commit mistake the way I did. There is no way to lock the wheels. Absolutely unsuitable for kids who have just started to stand on their own because it moves too fast and causes them to topple. Also the number of songs and words are very very limited Read more

Bought this for my new granddaughter to help her advance to walking. She was crawling by the time this gift arrived. Each time she went to rest her body on this walker to touch the toys the walker moved too much leaving her falling. It's a nice walker but needs some sort of braking system to help limit movement so kids can Play with the unit prior to walking. Now my little angel is standing up by holding things and this moves to fast for her to grab a hold of it long enough to use it to stand with it to help move her little feet along. It might be good once she is actually walking. Read more

This is a good product to help your little one learn how to walk. The only down side is that it doesn’t have breaks, so if your little doesn’t have controlled balance, then the walker will wheel away and the baby will fall forward. Read more
