I have finally found the foundation I have been searching for! I am 58 years old, and needed to adapt my foundation to the changing landscape of my face (sigh). This foundation comes with a little round sponge applicator and smooths on like a dream. It really evens out skin tone without caking and creasing and generally feeling icky. I took the photo in full sunlight and the heat index here was around 102 today. This makeup is everything I had hoped for. At 74 had developed "crepey" skin around mouth and under cheeks..the makeup I had only made the creases and wrinkles worse looking/very cakey and unnatural. I really love this foundation. I'm extremely fair skinned and it's difficult for me to find foundation that is light enough or doesn't have a yellow undertone. This is perfect! I also like how soft, creamy and dewy it goes on and STAYS that way, without settling into fine lines or emphasizing the negatives.I've read some reviews that say it's too heavy or cakey. I can see how that might be the case if applied with the sponge applicator included in the container. Here's my secret tip that makes it go on flawlessly, lightly, almost "airbrushed" (and you can build more coverage if desired):I take a SOFT makeup brush and moisten it, shaking off any excess water. You want the brush moist, not wet. Then I swirl it lightly in the foundation and apply in circles to each area until blended smoothly. Moisten the brush, shake it out and repeat with the next area. (I usually start with my eyes first, it acts as a primer/concealed/foundation all in one).Doing my whole face this way takes about 3 minutes, and the results are very natural, soft and yet my dark circles, blemishes, etc. are completely covered but no heavy, cakey appearance. So, that's my personal tip to anyone who would like to try it, it might change your mind about this foundation, which I think is really great stuff! Read more

The COVERGIRL & Olay Simply Ageless Foundation is a great foundation. It has medium to full coverage and is build-able. I have combination skin and redness on my checks and this foundation covered the redness without bothering my skin. I do prefer to set this foundation with a matte powder when I wear it and can get 9 to 10 hours wear out of it in a day. The price is very affordable and makes this product a great foundation to try. I received the product for free from COVERGIRL & Olay to try out and review. A picture says a thousand words so I will include one for ya'll. The side of my face that I am holding the foundation beside of is the side im wearing the foundation. The other side of my face has nothing on it. This product does come in a glass container with a plastic base that has a small sponge applicator in the top. I dd not like applying this foundation with the sponge provided because it made the foundation harder to blend but I have found if you use a damp beauty blender it blends out nicely. This foundation does have SPF28 in it which I really appreciate and works really well with the covergirl olay simply ageless concealer. The only reason I did not give this product 5 stars is because the sponge did not work well to apply the foundation. Read more

I ordered this because of the reviews with no expectations, and I am beyond pleased! I was even more surprised by this being a Cover Girl product, but it provides better results than any overly priced Department store product I've ever purchased. My skin looks flawless and has the exaxt same coverage from the moment I apply this until I wash my face, and it actually does decrease the appearance of fine lines and wrinkled. I live in an extremely warm and ALWAYS humid climate, and even after hot, muggy days it still last. My skin is very sensitive, and after a week of use I have had no break outs and I am actually seeing my skin become more even toned. The coverage doesn't even feel like any type of make-up is on your face rather just a light moisturizer. I've have had compliments everyday I've used this on my complexion appearing soft, clear, and bright. Unfortunately this foundation in this particular shade is hard to find. The price of this one is outrageous! l lived in the US for 30yrs and used CoverGirl for most of it. To buy it over there costs a fraction of this price. It is a pity CoverGirl no longer supplies to the UK. There are sellers on EBay with varying prices but then you have to add shipping costs which just makes the price ridiculous.If CoverGirl came back to the UK I am sure they would have a good market for their products, this in particular I find outstanding, it goes on like velvet, so smooth. It blends beautifully and has good coverage. I use a cream blusher and sometimes I lightly dust over the top with a mineral powder. Arrived on time. No damage. I bought this product because it said it was good for those if us with wrinkles as it didn't sit in them as much as other foundations. As a rule, I don't wear makeup, but sometimes, it's nice to wear it for a change. So, I purchased this for reasons already stated, and to be honest, it's not to bad. It gives excellent coverage, really good, it doesn't sit in my wrinkles as much as other foundations in the past have, although it does a little bit ( to be expected really, nothings perfect ), but I must say, it's a lot lit better than other foundations. It's a tiny little but dry, but to counteract that, just add a tiny tiny little bit of light moisturizer as you apply, and I do mean tiny, and it just makes it look less dry.
