Biolage has the best signature scent ever, or at least that’s how I feel. Every once in a while they will switch it up though and it will not be that scent. I am happy to report that this Biolage Dry Shampoo is there signature scent! Though initially it smells a bit powdery as well, but that powder scent fades and your left with getting a whiff of there scent all day long!As far as the dry shampoo itself, it’s actually quite good! I have darker hair and it did leave white residue initially, but once you massage it into your scalp and brush it out you can’t see it anymore at all. It does a very good job absorbing oils, even on 3-4 day hair.The bottle seams really small for some reason. It is 5 ounces of product, but compared to other dry shampoo I have it looks small. As you can see in the photo this Biolage is 5 ounces and the Living Proof is only 4 ounces, yet the Biolage is significantly smaller.Overall though this is a really good dry shampoo! I have extremely oily hair no matter what products I use in the shower. Ive been trying to train my hair by washing my hair every other day instead of every day. I know some people can go days without washing their hair but I could shower in the morning and have greasy hair by night time on some days. I’ve tried plenty of brands of dry shampoo and have only found a couple that seem to work. I’m not trying to use dry shampoo as a substitute for washing my hair, I want to use it if my hair is greasy and I’m in a pinch or have somewhere I’m going where I can’t just throw a hat on.This dry shampoo is definitely for people with very oily hair because it gives off a lot of powder and residue when you spray it. For me that’s okay because my hair always soaks it up. I do have dark hair though which isn’t always the best for white residues, I have even used cocoa powder in the past to cover up white spots.It has a nice smell and it’s easy to spray. The star off is for the price point. The bottle is pretty average size for the current $20 price point when there’s plenty of other brands for much cheaper. $20 seems to be a lot to me for a single bottle when some people use quite a bit in one usage Read more

I’m a huge hair product junkie and dry shampoo is a staple for me. I use dry shampoo every other day/in between hair washes and have tried many salon quality brands.Surprisingly this All-In-One Dry Shampoo surpassed my very high expectations and now has become my absolute favorite!Pros:*Works well for very oily hair (best dry shampoo oil absorber I’ve used).*Gives my fine, straight, thinning long hair excellent volume and bounce as if I actually washed my hair that day.*Leaves my hair smelling shampoo fresh all day long with their signature Biolage scent. Biolage All-In-One Intense Dry ShampooI usually wash my hair every 3 days to preserve my color so I rely on dry shampoos to get me through those other two days. This dry shampoo works very well and I find that it will actually keep my hair clean for an extra day without having to use it again. It has a wonderful fragrance that can mask any odors. I find it clean and pleasant. Be sure to shake this can before each spray which really helps the product disperse. I wash my hair every other day - on the off days I definitely need dry shampoo to keep my hair from looking oiliy and I have tried MANY dry shampoos. This is one of my favorites. It does a really nice job absorbing oil and goes on very light and powdery, not at all wet (which is a problem I have had with some dry shampoos). If you have dark hair, you will need to work this in to avoid a white cast which is true for most dry shampoos. I find this one to be a little less white than others though. I have dark blonde hair and it doesn't take much for me to blend this in. This dry shampoo is scented. I love the signature biolage scent and that scent is mostly captured for this spray. For performance and feel, this is definitely five stars. The only con of this dry shampoo is the price. The can is small for the price and if you use it as frequently as I do, the price might be a bit steep depending on your budget. Read more

In these days of working from home and extending the time between showers "just one more day" this dry shampoo is a godsend. The sent is really nice, it is the classic Biolage scent that many of their products have and is fantastic.The bottle is surprisingly compact. It actually contains more product than some other dry shampoos but the bottle is smaller. My hope is that means it is just more compact packaging is better for the planet.The product itself works really great. J'aime beaucoup les produits biolage , je ne suis jamais déçu de leur produit !Le shampoing sec est très agréable dans les cheveux il donne l'effet de propreté rechercher ♡Personnellement je trouve l'odeur agréable mais tout dépend des gouts de chaque personne ♡Il ne laisse pas de résidus dans les cheveux ♡J'aime beaucoup le shampoing sec mais je trouve que pour 30$ le poduit est assez petit ! Probably one of my favourite dry shampoos ever when it comes to leaving my hair feeling clean. Almost any other one will leave my hair feeling like it has dry shampoo in it which makes it look refreshed but feel dirty.This one does leave a major white cast on my brunette hair, but I find working from bottom up at the root and then massaging in will cover most of my hair without leaving any residue issues. I never apply directly to the top of my head, just under the top sections and work upwards. Then let it sit for a bit to absorb as much oil as it can to get the most out of it. Not only does this make hair feel cleaner, reduce residue left, but it also means you have to use less. Then brush out if possible (some people have curled hair and they can use their fingers to do a bit more massaging or scrunch up the hair to distribute to the other parts.)I really love to the scent of it. It leaves my hair leaving fresh.I can get around 4-5 days without washing my hair with this. Likely longer if I wanted to use it another time. In that 4-5 days I only use in between, not daily.So it is on the pricy side, but it is an excellent product that I think is well worth it. Read more

Following the instructions I shook the container and then holding approx. 10 inches from my hair I started to spray. Immediately I noticed the powerful scent which I am not really sure if I like or not. Nevertheless, it is strong and lingers. Perhaps this is to give you a sense of clean. I also noticed my hair looked like I had been caught in a snow storm. Massaging my hair does get rid of most of the white powder and brushing gets rid of the rest.I do not use dry shampoo often, however, there are some instances when I have been unable to wash my hair. I would not go as far as saying this is as good as washing my hair, but it is good for those emergencies. Afterward I noticed that my roots no longer looked oily and my hair seemed to have more volume.At $30 this is expensive for a dry shampoo. However, if this is a product you use often, because of the quality you might find it worth it. Read more

This is a great dry shampoo. Both in terms of use as a de-greasing dry shampoo and as a texture enhancer/volumiser it does the job well. The only negative would be that it does leave the ‘white hair’ issue, but I really don’t think it’s possible to degrease hair without that, since every dry shampoo I’ve tried does that. Once brushed out, it isn’t as ‘powdery white’ as cheaper dry shampoos I’ve tried.I do find the smell a bit overpowering and cloying, but it’s not unpleasant just a bit strong for my sensitive nose. To be honest, I’m just glad to find a Dry Shampoo that (finally) isn’t coconut scented.The Biolage Dry Shampoo doesn’t leave hair crunchy and strikes a good balance between making hair less greasy, and giving it volume and keeping relatively smooth as well, all without looking un-natural. I LOVE this Biolage Dry Shampoo! It works so well, and leaves my hair feeling much fresher and bouncier on the days I don’t wash it. The scent is quite reasonable - meaning not too strong - and the white powdering brushes out easily. I am still practicing the right combinations and amounts of time for layering the dry shampoo into my hair, rubbing it into the scalp, and brushing out the excess, but I feel confident that once I have the technique down it will be a lifesaver.I definitely recommend this dry shampoo, and really anything from Biolage. I will definitely keep this handy product on my shelf for days when I’m not able to fully wash my hair, and now I am confident that I don’t have to wear a hat if for some reason I am unable to have a shower!
