We have been using the original Bambo Nature diapers (green bag) since our child's birth and have had zero complaints. With the new redesign (white bag), we immediately ran into a few leaks like many others have stated. I was very disappointed and ended up returning the bags of unopened diapers. I didn’t want to waste the bag I had opened though so I used that one up after waiting a couple weeks. Strangely, I found that we did not encounter any more leaks in that time. Here’s what I think… After some testing and side-by-side comparison (size 3 only), this could be the issue. Both diapers have the same double gusset feature – one folds up like a barrier around the crotch area and one lays flat against the baby's underside. In the new diaper, the two gussets always stick together when you first open the diaper, causing it to be leak-prone if you put it on your baby this way. This is what probably caused the leaks we had in the very beginning; perhaps we just weren't careful enough. To avoid this, gently run your finger between the layers to separate the gussets and always ensure the diaper fits snugly and correctly on your baby. (I know it’s tough when you have a squirmy kid but it is absolutely necessary.) Bambo also made slight sizing changes to the new diapers which could account for the leaks some customers are experiencing, especially if your child is in-between sizes. We have been using the new Bambo diapers for the past couple months without a single leak again. Considering how thin the diapers are, they hold up extremely well – even overnight or longer uses. I now prefer the new diaper over the original one; it’s not bulky at all, the wetness indicator is useful, and the simpler design looks better under light-colored clothing. It's a winner for us. I hope it stays that way as we move up sizes. Read more
Here's what I finally figured out... The inside elastic and the outside elastic stick together on these diapers. You have to make sure it fully separates when you open up the diaper, or it will leak. Sometimes it's as easy as completely unfolding and stretching the diaper a little, and other times you have to run your finger between the 2 rows of elastic to manually separate them. It was an aggravating hassle at first but I've gotten use to it and it only takes a few seconds. Also, make sure that the ruffle in the leg hole is on the outside and not turned inward at all, or you could have a leak. Like many of the other reviewers, I prefer the old Bambo diapers and I'm a bit disappointed with the new version. I experienced several leaks in a row and even emailed Bambo prior to writing an amazon review. I'm shocked that I never received a response. I chose to contact them first after I noticed that they were diligently responding to all the amazon reviews asking people to contact customer service. However, it looks like they've given up responding to everyone about the leaks. I have been a devoted customer for years and expected good customer service. I'm still buying these diapers because I feel good about the ingredients, and I finally figured out how to avoid leaks. I do like the new wetness indicator but I'd give it up in a heartbeat to gave to old version back. The company says the new version is less bulky and that is true because they are thinner, but I never thought of the old version as bulky or thought they needed improvement. Also, these diapers are longer and fit differently. All in all, if you've never purchased Bambo diapers and you're concerned about the reviews, then buy them and follow my advice to prevent leaks. If you never used the older version, you won't know the difference and it won't matter. The old version was, in every way, the best diaper on the market. The new version is still the healthiest, safest all natural diaper you're going to find. It took me a while to decide if I wanted to give 3 or 4 stars. The lack of response from customer service is the reason I gave 3 instead of 4 stars. Read more

I absolutely love these nappies. I normally use cloth nappies but circumstances at the moment meant I need disposables for my babies..I did use mama bear nappies absolutely appalling and both my toddler and baby got chemical burns after one use of each nappy!!!I find that pampers constantly leak!!Anyway after much research I found these awsome nappies. At first I was dubious about them having read some of the reviews but have to say I am so so impressed!!!No leaks at all and use overnight too and no nappy rash at all.Absolutely love these nappies and will continue to use them.. Good in a pinch, but overall the performance is lacking. We use cloth nappies but occasionally need disposable if we are traveling, or for after live vaccines. We got these because Beaming Babies were sold out. These don’t perform as well as the Beaming Babies or our reusable cloth. The gussets in the leg don’t hold tight to the leg and this encourages leaks. I tried multiple techniques for closing the nappy and the results were the same each time. I like the idea of them, but the execution isn’t great. However, they are less harmful to the environment, so I still give them 4 stars. Read more
These nappies are no where near the Bambo quality we are used to. The size 3 also comes in different packaging than what we know from Bambo. They do not fit well, leak a d are not nearly as absorbent as the size 2 ones we used before. Sold and full filed by Amazon so would have expected them to do the due diligence on these products - sorry to say they are likely a fake product as they are no where near the quality we know from the other Bambo nappies. Purchased these as we were struggling to get the appropriately sized nappies for my youngest. Very disappointing with the quality as the first one the sticky tab came off when putting it on the other one's feel flimsy not sure if it's a bad batch or general issue with the brand but won't be buying another pack to find out. Bought this as an alternative fmto my delayed usual nappy (Moltex) and can't say it was bad. However, many times the weight of the wee would take the nappy to be loose and therefore the nappy would open. Read more
