I read online somewhere that the carseat was 6lbs... It's not and is pretty heavy but idk if I can even complain about weight if my baby is super safe. I've returned this item, since while spacious for my baby, the Baby Jogger 2016 City Go Car seat was far heavier than otherwise advertised. This defeated the purpose of why I'd chosen to invest in this supposedly "lightweight" item in the first place. It was just as heavy, in fact, as the Evenflo Safemax car seat baby carrier that came with the travel system my sister purchased for me. I bought this in addition to that one to make it easier to carry my baby around on-the-go, so I felt disappointed in having to return this equally "heavy" car seat. Read more

I really like the car seat, the base is somewhat difficult to install. I wish that this car seat had an anti-rebound bar like the new City View convertible car seat. I feel like it's a little narrow, but larger son seems to fit just fine. Read more
