I have tried many chin straps over the years with virtually no success. Most were hot, uncomfortable and slid off my head. A respiratory therapist at the medical supply company I use suggested I try a Ruby style mask. I will be perfectly honest and say that I picked this mask out of the masses because it was totally adjustable and the angles of the straps looked like they might solve the problem of the headgear slipping off my head.I have been using it for a week now and must say I experienced none of the complaints in the reviews. It took about 3 minutes to adjust and works great.. I was pleasantly surprised to see that the velcro adustment in the back is very thin and not noticeable when one lays on their back. The material is smooth, not hot or itchy. I noticed a slight rubber smell but anything made of a rubber compound smells like rubber. I don't notice it now.I think it provides great value for the money and let's face it, not many medical items cost $14. If it lasts 3- 6 months I will be happy and buy another. I have had two different chinstraps supplied by me cpcp provider. All were terrible. This one is fits better, wider chin strap and adjust well. Worn under the CPAP mask, it dies not move and ruin the adjustments like the other brands did. Only used a few nights so far, but got a 100% from My MyAir tracking program for the first time. I had been using the Ruby Red Chin Strap for about a year. They fall apart easily although they are ver comfortable to wear. I wore two out and had to patch them to make them work. I looked through Amazon’s inventory and found the Good Living Chin Strap and ordered two of them. The material is super sturdy yet very comfortable especially around my ears. The Velcro strap is a different texture and will probably last longer with the constant fastening and removal. I’m impressed the way the chin strap cradles the chin keeping it in place all night. When I saw the images, I thought it would be too bulky. To my surprise, I found it to be very comfortable and effective. It stays in place all night and I don't feel a thing. Best of all - no more snoring. My wife is very happy. I also found that once adjusted, you can just slip it on without taking apart the velco tabs.I wash it by hand - and it still looks like new. This is a fairly thin product...which makes it very comfortable...fits snugly at the start, but did start to get loose over a period of time. Washing helps bring it back into a tight fit, but I think over time, it will not support. Nonetheless, for the prices, it is doing what I need to it to do. Read more

I got it to keep my mouth from getting dry while sleeping. Even the tiniest slit where air can get in will find a way toto dry out my mouth. It wakes me up and I will have a hard time getting back to sleep. This strap works great. Read more
