Boiled filtered water, added flakes, poured into squirt bottle. Now have 100% Magnesium spray. Has oliy feel to it but not really an oil. Will make your skin tingle a bit so do a bit at a time. I used this to make magnesium "oil," which is just some of these flakes dissolved in water. I keep it in a spray bottle and use it daily to get my magnesium transdermally. I've noticed a difference in my bowel movements, in my immune system, and in how well I sleep. I rub some into my kids' skin before bed, and it's helped them to sleep more soundly, too. I've used a handful of these in the bath - it's great. But I bought the flakes to make Magnesium Oil with. Glad I did. For a fraction of the cost, I mix up equal parts flakes and water in a squirt bottle and use it just before going to bed. I've put the M.O. on by legs, arms, and all over the body, but it is a salt and if you have a cut or scratch, it can irritate the injury, but not terribly, for me. My fav use is on the soles of my feet, just before bed. Seems to be helpful in aiding me sleep better. Read more

Nutrients applied to the skin are efficiently absorbed into the bloodstream.Magnesium Oil Recipe 1/2 cup filtered water 1/2 cup magnesium chloride flakesBring the water to a boil in a non-aluminum saucepan. Turn off the heat and stir in the magnesium flakes until dissolved. When cool, pour into your spray bottle. ..Spray it on to the body and lightly rub it in.
