I'm pretty experienced when it comes to piercings, I've been doing my own for over a decade as well as have gotten many done professionally. These needles are SHARP! I can definitely agree with the other reviewers on that, but also like the others said..the 16 gauge is NOT correct. (i can only speak for the 16g and 14g.) When you do a piercing, the jewelry should fit into the end of the needle so you can easily fit the jewelry in place (with minimal trauma). The 14g jewelry fits fine in the 14g needle but 16g jewelry DOES NOT fit into the 16g needle. Even 18g jewelry doesnt fit right. That's really not okay and completely false advertising. ALSO, this is the first time I've ever gotten supposedly sterile needles in little plastic bags with little plastic pieces covering the tips (the covers looked like the clear, plastic back you get on earrings). I didnt care at the time because I had my mind set on doing these piercings and these were the only needles with same day delivery but I was definitely a bit concerned with sanitation (I soaked in alcohol as a precaution). Usually needles come individually packaged, with a little dot that turns blue when they're no longer sterile. These dont have that.For the price, these are fine. I wouldnt recommend them to a friend unless they were super desperate. If you are inexperienced definitely go to a professional but...if you're stubborn af like me and are still gonna do it yourself...at least get needles that are the correct size (and be very good with aftercare! dial scentfree soap and saline soaks) Read more

The packaging is exactly as the picture shows. The item actually arrived a few days late (I selected 2-day shipping) but that had nothing to do with the seller's processing and more to do with the weather/actual shipping, so I'm still giving it 5 stars. I ordered this to help fix a nose piercing that had closed up inside my nostril (I have a double-nostril piercing on one side of my nose). Because I use 22-gauge nose studs, I used the 20-gauge needle to get it through the hole. Despite the larger size of the needle, it had no trouble piercing through the healed-over skin; it was so painless I had to check to make sure it had gone all the way through. These needles are sharp and, in my opinion, work beyond the price. Well worth it if you have to fix piercings! Very Happy with these needles. The Items came individually wrapped in sterile, dated, and sealed. They did NOT send expired needles. These are excellent quality. The Piercing Needles were VERY sharp. They were so sharp it was almost completely painless. So far I have done two earring piercings and one nose piercing. It has been over 6 weeks and have not had any infections or complications. If you do not have peircing experience, or are not certified about blood borne pathogens, I would not recommend using these on yourself or others. I do have experience and with proper aftercare have had no issues.having multiple piercings myself, I can honestly say (at least in my area and my own opinion) these hurt less than the ones used by professionals near me.
